Accomplish the remarkable by doing the ordinary at the Coldest Night of the Year!!

As you know, the Coldest Night of the Year walk is a super-fun, family-friendly fundraiser that raises money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in 100+ communities across Canada.

The WALK is held on Saturday, February 24, 20178 and provides each participant the opportunity to:
– walk 2, 5, or 10km
– fundraise much needed money for Milton Transitional Housing
– feel a hint of the challenge faced by those experiencing homelessness – particularly during the winter.

The Coldest Night of the Year has raised $12 million dollars nationally since 2011. The money raised in Milton stays in Milton and directly supports Milton Transitional Housing – a community-based, registered Canadian charity. The purpose of Milton Transitional Housing is to help local residents who are in a housing crisis by first providing subsidized bridge accommodation for up to two years and then helping them take advantage of all the supports and training available in the community needed for them to regain housing and economic independence. Our goal, “…from HOPE to HOME”, summarizes our belief that lives can be rebuilt with support and assistance from their community.

Please – won’t you join us in helping to fundraise to help those experiencing homelessness in our community – Walk in the cold so that they can come in out of the cold
